About Me

I believe in a holistic approach to wellness, and this is a way of life that I practice myself. As a migraine sufferer since childhood, I’d tried every medication my doctors could think of, and it was only through reflexology; and later massage, that I was able to find relief from a condition that would leave me completely incapacitated for days at a time.

In 2020, like so many of us, I caught Covid, and it completely uprooted my life. Joint, soft tissue pain and extreme fatigue forced me to completely change the way I lived.

It wasn’t only the physical effects that were the problem, but also the way this effected my mindset. Combined with early peri menopause after having a hysterectomy several years earlier, I was anxious, hopeless and filled with self-doubt. This is when I discovered Life Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Coaching gave me the tools I needed to adapt my life and make the changes I needed to, not only to function, but to return to being the happy, active, confident woman I wanted to be. I spent the next year completing my training as a Life Coach and NLP Master Practitioner so that I can pass on what I have learned and continue to make a positive difference to my existing clients and anyone else struggling with similar issues.

These days I live a full, active and joyful life – I know that sounds cliché, but it’s true – and in the darkest depths of 2020, I never thought I would be able to say that. I went through the coaching process and as with all the modalities that I’ve trained in, it made a transformational difference to my life. Coaching is done online via Zoom so you can connect with me from anywhere in the UK from the comfort of your own home. I enjoy nothing more than the variation and challenges that my job provides.

From treating physical injuries to stress related conditions to working with people looking to improve their mindset, no day is the same and I count myself incredibly lucky that I can practice the therapies that made such a difference to me. I have an ISRM Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy BTEC level 5 and an ABC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology as well as a Registered Life Coach and NLP Master Practitioner with the Clique Academy. I am registered with the ISRM and am a member of the AoR.

“I started seeing Emma as I suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis. I was in a lot of pain in my neck, spine, hips and feet. Emma talked through my condition with me and explained exactly what she had in mind to try and ease things for me. Emma did some massage and stretching with me on the different areas that were affected. All the way through, Emma talked to me about what was going on and how the pressure was, if I needed her to ease off etc. She constantly checked I was ok.”

“I felt completely relaxed throughout my sessions with Emma. At the end of the sessions I felt that the pain had gone, I felt I could movie easier and I was more supple. I honestly couldn’t believe how much better I felt after just an hour with Emma. I will definitely be returning for more sessions with her.”

“Thank you Emma!”

“I went to see Emma after my muscles went into shock after I started exercising after a 25 year break. I only needed a few sessions and she had completely relieved all my issues in my calf, my back and my shoulders which had become so tense and painful they were hindering my training!”

“Emma was an absolute God send, she asked me lots of questions about my routine and listened to what I was experiencing. She made me feel at ease, relieved the tension, gave me great advice and showed me how to do the right stretches when I got home. I would (and do) totally recommend Emma – without her I definitely would have given up exercising!”
